4 Initial Steps

To join the Salvation Army training college 

  1. Become a soldier (member) at your local Salvation Army church

  2. Take the "Am I A Candidate?" quiz

  3. Contact your local “Candidates Secretary”

  4. Sign up for our preview weekend

Our two-year curriculum allows students to be trained on various aspects of The Salvation Army Officership, from Pastor to Preacher, Youth Leader to Social Worker, and more.

Equip

Our program provides students with the essential resources to achieve their spiritual, academic, and leadership goals. From textbooks and equipment right through to tools of success.

Send

After two years of training, Salvation Army Officers are sent to their initial appointment - the start of a fulfilling and meaningful journey where they will fulfill their calling to full-time ministry.
