What is the candidates department?
The Candidates Department of the Southern Territory is dedicated to helping those who believe that God has called them to serve in ministry with The Salvation Army. From working with your local Corps and Division to connecting you to the Evangeline Booth College, the Candidates Department is your guide to becoming a Salvation Army Officer.
We firmly believe that God has a purpose for all of our lives.
“for I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11 NLT).
The Candidates Department is comprised of the following members:
